Hardcore Starter Chest for Hardcore Players

If you plan to start a game in Hardcore mode - this is the starter chest for you! By GamingCats
Ok if you are like us, sometimes you really just want to play Minecraft in Hardcore Survival mode. Right?

For those who don't know what that means, in Hardcore Mode when you die you're dead. No respawning. Gone. You have passed on. Six Feet Under. You been greased. Whacked.

You get the idea.

And the world you so lovingly created, explored and modified is gone forever. (Unless you made a backup but thats another story.)

So in Hardcore mode the idea is to survive as long as you can. Sure sooner or later something will get you. Spiders, skeletons, spider riding skeletons, zombies, lava, witches, Vindicators, Creepers. Something.

So here is a way to make that last horrible moment quite a bit further in the future.

We call it The Hardcore Adventurers Chest.

Take a peek.

In this chest is powerful armor, a killer bow, enhanced sword, pickaxe, axe and shovel. A pair of wings. A saddle and horse armor. 12 Magic Golden Apples. (You'll like those!) Some necessities like wood, coal, torches, arrows, iron, compass, clock and even a fish to eat. Plus 4 blocks each of diamonds and lapis lazuli. A potion of speed. And a few other useful items.

With this to get you started you will have a grand old time exploring, attacking dungeons and monsters and making yourself King or Queen of the World.

Until you get killed of course.

To use this chest you will need MCEdit. If you don't have it the latest version (and older ones too) can be found here.

Once you have that installed, then download this file and save it in your schematics folder.

Then create your Hardcore World (it doesn't have to be Hardcore mode of course but heck its more fun!), exit Minecraft, load MCEdit, select your Hardcore World and then use MCEdit to import the chest schematic to the world. Position it where you want it then press Enter. That fixes it in the world map. Important! Make sure you then save the map before exiting MCEdit.

Now just load Minecraft and your chest should be there waiting for you. Open it and start powering up!

Happy Adventuring!
